Got it!!
Tonight's sky. I was lucky to spot noctilucent clouds, and even luckier still to catch a meteor in the frame with them!
Last night's sky 🌌. Still a few weeks until darkness returns at this latitude.

Getting really treated here!!
Was treated to this lovely 22° lunar halo earlier this evening
Farewell, winter constellations!

Another bit of last night's Moon.
Those two large craters near the center are Aristoteles (larger of the two) and Eudoxus, and the nearby mountains are Montes Caucasus
Very jealous of the view the crew is getting of Mare Orientale. I did catch a glimpse of that region some time ago…just!
Pleased to catch a nice lunar halo tonight, amongst the murk!

@bluejay@ohai.social yes, tracked. I think the Player One cameras might be worth checking out too, they might be better, I haven’t really kept up with it all. You have a scope then?

@glasspusher haha! I wish it was something sophisticated like that! It's the skywatcher budget dobsonian tube, which I've shoved rings onto and put on an eq mount. Results are pretty okay I'd say - for a bodged together thing, which really hasn't been designed for what it's doing 😂

@sternwarte thanks!! Not sure about the red gloom, looked again tonight and couldn’t see anything visually, it’s potentially reflection from other lights?? I think it’s broken, there’s two of adjacent to each other which seem to have failed

@cafuego Just looked at your timeline, blimey! Awesome stuff!! What's the new scope? the redcat?
@grb090423@mastodon.social glad you’re okay! I was not well wrapped up 😅. I’m pretty cold proof, but by the end I was getting past my limit. Aww, that’s so cool that you still have the ornament 🤗. Things have been okay thanks, last year was bit of a tough one, with not much astronomy, will get back to it I think, and have hopes of a better year ahead

@glasspusher yeah, thanks, not too shabby result all things considered. This was with 200mm reflector, ZWO 178MM, and 2.5x powermate

@sternwarte cheers Andy!! Seeing was really changeable, but there did seem to be some good moments
