@UKFilmNerd@mastodon.me.uk In all seriousness it's probably going to be pretty great. The Ubi Star Wars and Assassins Creed games, and Cyberpunk, both look great (considering the hardware) and I think id are probably even better at this kind of optimisation.

@UKFilmNerd The 4k took ages to be released here but was worth it! Interestingly I noticed aliasing at the cinema that wasnt on the 4k disc so i assume the Odeon used a lower resolution source?

@RonJeffries@mastodon.social Way too much of the way we design our towns and countries has dependenceon cars for getting anywhere quickly and easily. Im worried the same will happen with software design - abandonment of other ways if getting to your solution.
