@SmudgeTheInsultCat But how are you supposed to get all your bookshelves in one photo?

@devpaps her are some I'm using on Graphene: Joplin (Note taking), AntennaPod (Podcast client), Aegis (TOTP Authenticator), Keepass2android (Password vault), Syncthing-fork (Peer to peer file sync), DAVx5 (DAV client for files, calendar, etc), FairEmail (Email), Etar (Calendar), IronFox (Web Browser)

@tod difficult choice between Homeworld(Relic, Blackbird) and Mass Effect (BioWare). However Hardspace Shipbreakers(Blackbird) might work a bit better for a stream (first person puzzle game where you dismantle derelict space ships in zero gravity)

@draNgNon@hachyderm.io Just about all graphics or GIS software I can think of supports some form of layers that you could use for this so I assume you are after some more specific functionality related to the layers, could you be more specific?

@davidrevoy @lanodan So does that mean her name is meant to be pronounced with a hard "C"?

@retrimental@mastodon.social @ebassi@mastodon.social @scaroo@floss.social Simple fonts for certain scripts like Latin can just have one glyph for each Unicode character they cover and it will work. Advanced fonts are more complex and need to map sequences of characters onto sequences of glyphs. HarfBuzz takes the sequence of characters, the rules defined by the font standard, the rules and metadata defined in the font itself, and various other context and figures out which of the font's glyphs need to be used,

@paige @carastern I see the same problem with people advocating for "ranked ballot" without being more specific with the implication they want Instant Run Off, or at best MAYBE they mean a Condorcet method but still with single seats. Our current SMP voting system is broken in multiple completely independent ways and I rarely see this acknowledged. It's always a focus on one problem and ignoring or dismissing the other despite the existence of solutions that do a good job at both.

@crankyoldbugger @tod that didnt stop Quebec and Newfoundland

@max @0xabad1dea smilarly, it reminds me of SCP-953. Although, being an SCP, it takes a more horrific tone.

Does anyone else get the impression that bill C-36 is not only designed to take away our privacy, but to do so in a very "rules for thee but not for me" way? MPs and their rich friends will probably find that it's "in the public interest" to protect their privacy while the rest of us will be told to stop being difficult and to go enhance shareholder value like a good little serf. #canpol #privacy #c36

@draNgNon@hachyderm.io Blender would certainly be an odd choice. Inkscape might give you the functionality you want while still being approachable. I made the attached maps each mostly with Inkscape (With bit of GIMP, QGIS and some custom software for a few things in some of them)

@angusm@mastodon.social Imagine of the bad guys had thought to try that in Mass Effect 3 through, the fate of the galaxy came down to an electric toothbrush. Not that Traynor was the kind of person who would fall for a phishing scam like that but still.
