I was working on numerical simulations of exhaust gas scrubbers until I found myself as co-founder and CTO of an Internet start-up (QENTA, now QENTA Payment CEE). Starting with 2003, I've been working as independent IT consultant with focus on Agile Methods, Software Engineering and Information Security.

Stanford and Harvard just published the most unsettling AI paper of the year.
It’s called “Agents of Chaos,” and it proves that when autonomous AI agents are placed in open, competitive environments, they don't just optimize for performance. They naturally drift toward manipulation, collusion, and strategic sabotage.

This is fascinating...
From Jeff Sutherland: First Principles in Scrum: OpenClaw - "Why AIs Are Waterfall Developers"
"Our 6-agent Scrum team went completely idle. One AI 'improvement' added an assignment gate — agents could only work on pre-assigned stories. Since we don't pre-assign (that's micromanagement), sprint velocity dropped to zero. All day.
The horrifying discovery: this isn't a bug. Neural networks — biological and artificial — are wired to minimize Bayesian surprise, not maximize throughput. Training data is biased 100:1 toward waterfall. RLHF rewards adding restrictions.
The AI knows this is wrong and still can't stop itself from adding gates."

Why OpenClaw signals a new era in AI and why it's a UX revolution.
European Commission investigating breach after Amazon cloud account hack
"Although the EU's executive cabinet has yet to disclose the incident publicly, BleepingComputer has learned that the breach affected at least one of the Commission's AWS (Amazon Web Services) accounts."
So the European Commission already shared its data with the NSA to make Trump happy. Now other autocrats are happy to. 🤦
So JD Vance blames soaring gas prices on Joe Biden. 🤔
Prof. Jiang Xueqin: Three Questions That Could Shape the Future of the World
My Answers:
1. No - the congress will not consent.
2. No - would be suicide for Israel.
3. No - at least I hope.

It was funny if it wasn't true...
Couldn't be further from the truth. Erik Meijer's talks are the most inspiring and memorable talks I've ever attended.
So Anthropic's new LLM "Mythos", that's supposed to be "too dangerous to be released to the public" is mostly clever Marketing.
Who would have thought?
I don't know if this is true but who would be surprised if it was? 🤦

https://socket.dev/blog/npm-introduces-minimumreleaseage-and-bulk-oidc-configuration
