so youtuber trolligarch has been doing videos about "simulated democracy" experiments on the internet. you know the type, someone's like "what if we did the bureaucracy of democracy, as a means for organizing a subreddit/forum/minecraft server/neopets fansite?" and everyone runs campaigns and has elections and a constitution written out and blah blah blah
i think it's really interesting to chronicle these in part because like... they are closely related to the less formal governance of websites

current lamenting: trying to pick a color scheme when all of these are the same bytes. also probably the most important one is gameboy color and i gave my gameboy color back to its original owner the other day so i can't conveniently test on one. and it takes a minute to put it on a cartridge and try it out on devices... #LiquidCrystalDreamsTarot

working on the ethernet run project. trying to run ethernet from the back extension of our house out to the front. it's going to install crawling through a... 14" high space or so, drilling a hole through the sill plate, and pulling a hundred feet of ethernet cable thruogh. it's not going to be "fun" but i think it should be doable and then i'll have a nas that gets better speeds and doesn't go offline half the time

I was putting away dishes (bending over and back up) and my back had a sudden pain, while i was moving but not doing anything extraordinary, that felt like a needle prick, or a pinch, or a snap, or an electric shock, very small and localized, but then the entire center of my back became very hurty like I had a pulled muscle or something. the pulled muscle sensation is not diminishing and in moving around since i occasionally get that sharp sensation again. am i dying?

Tried vacuuming the basement room, a major step towards working in it, but the vacuum wasn't like. Pulling anything in. I could put my hand over the end and feel a lot of suction but it just didn't pick up any dust
