Long dream where I was just trying to get to sleep in a different bedroom than I'm in right now
shoofle
shoofle, well known of the internet (also shoofle on mastodon.gamedev.place, beach.city, and egirls.gay)
dang it my steamdeck has stopped giving me a warning before it abruptly shuts off with low battery :(
it's funny that aloy from horizon zero dawn was picked up as Too Woke by at least one person because i really like the aesthetic of those games but ultimately the biggest thing that kills t for me is that aloy is too clean and pretty and perfect
Just played the most cracked run of slay the spire 2 multiplayer, four regents just swanning about. I was on shield duty, distributing like 40 points of shield every turn to everyone in the room. We barely cracked half health before we won. I had so many powers I couldn't reliably play them all before combat ended bc Brian was doing too much damage
i wish steam forwarded curator lists more. they're a neat feature
It's true what you've heard. Trails in the sky... Is good.
Stressful dream. Went to an event with all my friends and then lost all my shit
oh that's INTERESTING. autocaptions for this monhun video captioned "tasheen" as "teostra". i didn't really expect teostra to be in the captioning system
monster hunter wilds is interesting and i'd love to see a monster hunter that engages more with the idea of what a healthy ecosystem looks like. but i think it would contrast with the core gameplay loop and some affordances would need to be made
The (not real) bookstore in my childhood grocery store strip mall has become a mildly recurring dream location. It's helmed by a friendly 40-something man who always has something to recommend, and delving a little ways into it reveals it to be a (bigger on the inside, naturally) labyrinth of magical doodads and gewgaws. Warnings apply: don't leave the building while exploring (very important), be respectful of the exhibits, don't take things without paying. On this occasion I brought my father, who squeezed his way in through the narrow doorway and immediately set exploring.
I got some recommendations about current exhibits and things to check out and wandered into the back to follow my dad. Showed him a couple perennial exhibits, which were easily explicable by science. But before long he vanished and then returned and was horrified by me. I shouted for the shopkeeper and he came and it was clear something was not wrong with my dad. Something was wrong with me.
They performed some kind of exorcism and my dad fled. Then once I had recovered I went outside but my dad was very brusque towards me as he returned inside presumably to talk to the shopkeeper. A friend of mine stopped by to check on the clearly crying me.
