Eid Al-Fitr is approaching, and my children Walid, Toleen, and little Layan dream of something very simple: new clothes to celebrate Eid and feel the joy every child deserves.
After months of war, displacement, and hardship in Gaza, even small moments of happiness mean everything to them.

I am a parent trying to take care of my children, but life is getting harder every day. Prices are very high, and simple things like eggs are not always available. I face many challenges in finding basic needs for my kids like milk, diapers, and medicine. I am doing my best, but it is not easy. After all the crossings leading to Gaza were closed, our suffering has grown heavier. Prices have risen in a shocking way, and many basic food items are no longer available. As a family already struggling with difficult circumstances, this makes daily life even harder for us. Providing simple meals for my children has become a constant worry. Every day feels more uncertain than the one before. We are doing our best to stay strong, but we truly need support and hope in these overwhelming times.
Despite everything… we still believe that tomorrow will be better.
