mastodon 4.6.9
Your smart home works flawlessly. It just doesn't look like a 1992 hot dog stand. I fixed that.
The Windows 3.1 "Hot Dog Stand" color scheme, rebuilt as a full Home Assistant theme: red, yellow, black, square corners, and a real font. 🌭

🌀 Only Fan Controller v1.2.0 is out!
A quick update to my little open-source tool that tames the jet-engine fans on a Dell R730.
New this release:
- Home Assistant integration over MQTT (auto-discovery) with per-GPU temp / utilization / power sensors and fan control straight from HA.
- Fail-safe hardening so the server is never left uncooled
- Fixed a few bugs and security items

Finally made a big update to the HomeTech website that I've been wanting to do for a long time. Finally off Squarespace after 10+ years.
Biggest achievement is getting the RSS feed to have all 577 shows and not just the last 300. 😊
Mastodon all updated, search enabled, server moved, backups live. Much better infrastructure now and lower cost hopefully.
wow. RIP Om Malik. One of the godfathers of tech journalism who I always enjoyed reading. Very saddened to now read of his passing. 59 is far too young.
