Back in Oz. I’ve now been to more WWDCs at Apple Park than SF and SJ and I think every year gets better.
It’s not just video replay of the Keynote, this year was 2.5 days of Apple events, plus everything else going on.
Daughter should work for Apple. “Can I use the iPad.” Me: “You just did tablet for an hour.” Her: “that was tablet, not iPad.”

In Australia the main way you watch F1, NBA, cricket and AFL is Kayo. They’ve doubled their price over the past few years and slotted ads everywhere.
It’s now impossible to scrub because of ads. If you pause there’s ads. Don’t worry, when you resume the picture doesn’t instantly resume so you usually end up hitting pause again.
Possible the most egregious user-hostile feature I’ve ever seen in an app.

@caseyliss@mastodon.social great video, thanks. We have such cognitive dissonance in Australia where everybody has solar and many have batteries, but boomers still want coal and natural gas, even though they understand the economics. Kills me.

@_Davidsmith@mastodon.social hey… are you seeing any issues with iOS 27 + HKStatisticsCollectionQuery not returning all the requested data?
Got a user requesting 7 days of data split into daily buckets but it’s only returning the most recent 2 days.
In the new Xcode Device Hub I can’t figure out how to resize the simulator like you previously could with Cmd-1 Cmd-2 etc.
Every time I connect an external display to Golden Gate it shrinks my sim window to a tiny size 🤷♂️ - would be good to quickly grow it again with a keyboard shortcut!
