mastodon 4.7.3Music, sports, and software. Swift & SwiftUI at https://www.daysheets.com. Podcast host at https://www.thegoldenhurricast.com. Probably listening to Avenged Sevenfold. #SwiftEverywhere
With #WWDC26 coming up soon, I'm clearing the decks for the apps I work on in my spare time.
Lots of under-the-hood, structural updates for CatchUp, Hot Local Food, and Outrank. Modern SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, SwiftData/Core Data, and more
Feels great! Check em out.
@marcoarment@mastodon.social Can you remind the people what your "AirPods as concert earplugs" strategy is?
Which listening mode? Are you wearing them the entire show? etc
I remember you talked about this on ATP a time or two, but I'm wondering if anything's changed and if you still recommend this
This Xcode dialog always makes me chuckle
One week til #WWDC! One last time to #LetTimCook
After 3 months of painstaking polish & bug fixes*, YouHQ has officially been submitted to App Review 👀
* I mostly just got very busy and was dreading doing the App Store screenshots
Just have to say I am SO glad the Stacktrace pod is back. Loving the new episodes
cc: @johnsundell@mastodon.social & @_inside@mastodon.social you guys rock.
It took 10 days, but app review finally reviewed & approved YouHQ for Mac! Release day tomorrow 😤
4+ days later, the YouHQ macOS app has still not even entered review!
The iOS and visionOS apps were both reviewed and approved days ago. I did not think macOS would be the one holding me back 😭
Introduce yourself with 10 bands you’ve seen live:
Avenged Sevenfold
Volbeat
Ghost
Atreyu
Sabaton
Black Veil Brides
Escape the Fate
Falling in Reverse
Alestorm
Halestorm
The new Atreyu album goes extremely hard. I'm hooked
RE: @ryantoken@indieweb.social
OpenClaw: Possibly useless. Still extremely fun. Why?
A fun question to think through, so I wrote up my thoughts on it 👇
Computers have always been cool. I wrote about why they might be cooler than ever: https://www.ryantoken.com/blog/talk-to-your-computer
