@lillian@social.treehouse.systems the future of single board computers. i already have boards that do this with 6-15v and i could see future designers doing some gross repurposing of onboard PoE circuitry for this if applicable

@doskel@masto.doskel.net it's funny living in the anti-civilization forcefield. we are commute distance away from apple and google and any number of other large tech companies, but all of the infrastructure projects just sort of quietly avoid the area because the mountains are angry and want to eat all human infrastructure 24/7. fiber, 5g, consistent 4g coverage even, california's high speed rail, all of it just goes right by us. i understand why (very high construction+maintanence cost for relatively few people versus just going inland) but it continues to be amusing

@doskel@masto.doskel.net i'm kinda ehh on it due to living between huge walls of rock. 4g/lte reception is bad and inconsistent enough as it is so 5g's range limitations basically mean that we aren't getting that shit here unless someone decides to run 5g stations alongside all the california state highways and decides to connect via our main road or something

@MelissaBearTrix@gives.hugz.online i don't exactly fit into 'cis' or 'trans' i feel for very complex reasons (and i'm not intersex either as far as i am aware) but i present generally in-line with my 'assigned gender' without any sort of effort towards really passing as anything and have not done any sort of name change or social transition, and i just get gendered all over the map and it's been like that for my entire life
