@purpleidea @next @bkuhn I think you may mean making copyleft-next "one-way compatible" (as I think people sometimes used to say) with GPL? This is a feature of the legacy copyleft-next and I would guess there would be interest in preserving such a feature

@cwebber@social.coop I mean, as a practical idea worth contemplating. Could imagine it as an experiment by someone with sufficient resources. There were some highly ill-conceived efforts to create anti-copyleft models a few years ago @bkuhn@fedi.copyleft.org @ossguy@fedi.copyleft.org
