Ich hab dem @meszner@chaos.social wieder was erzählt. Es geht ums Auge, um berühmte Komponisten und einen Mann, der in einer Zwischenwelt der Medizingeschichte arbeitete.
Schön zu sehen, dass meine eigene Unwissenheit dazu geführt hat, dass sich mehr Menschen eingehender mit Ästuaren beschäftigt haben.

Immer, wenn ich allein in eine neue Stadt reise, vor allem wenn ich gegen Abend ankomm, denk ich mir: Ah, ich werd ein bisschen exploren, mir ein feines Lokal suchen, was gutes Speisen. Meistens endet es dann damit, dass ich mit Fast Food ins Hotel zurückkehr, welches ich mir dann, im Bett liegend, genüsslich in den Kopf stecke.

Immer eine Freude, wenn ich zu Hause auf eine DPD-Lieferung warte, und dann statt ein Klingeln zu hören, das Mail mit dem Betreff "DPD - Ihre Meinung ist uns wichtig" erhalte. Dann weiß ich: das Paket wurde einfach direkt an den Paketshop geliefert. Meine Meinung teil ich dann eh mit, geholfen hat das aber noch nie.

@Snoeksen@bonn.social @Limnobotanik@norden.social Ich mein, ich jammer auf hohem Niveau, weil ich gleich zwei Shops gegenüber hab, die auch DPD Pakete annehmen. Aber ich fänds zumindest freundlich, wenn DPD sie nicht automatisch als die Zustelladresse behandelt.

@mlle@infosec.exchange And it's not even just Finder. It's how MacOS handles things, so the issues with Finder are cascading to other file managers as well. What the hell.

@publicvoit@graz.social Yeah, in my case it's tag-based as well (just the "notes", which in their simple form are basically toots). I don't want to just duplicate all posts (technically, all my posts are on the Fediverse anyway with the built-in Ghost federation), I just want to automatically publish posts that lend themselves to also be toots, and then pull in the replies and reactions to the blog.

@_nd_@fnordon.de I think in the end my issue was the weird way Finder assigns a date to files. I had downloaded a couple of files via Mail, but since they didn't have a date attribute (I think) they were saved as if they were from a few weeks ago. I turned off Group sorting, and then they did show up.

@publicvoit@graz.social Ah, very interesting! We share the same approach when it comes to "works for me", it's basically how I've been treating my blog for most of its existence. I'm gonna do a lil write-up soon on how I've implemented it.
Watched the latest Boys episode. Wondering: how does Butcher afford an IWC? Did he take it off someone? Can't imagine him poring over grey market deals.
