I’m interested in technology that makes life easier and is esthetically pleasing. I’m a LaunchBar nerd. Podcasts are my favorite medium to learn new things. I love Jesus, my family, nature, bass, skateboarding, sourdough bread, mushrooms, basketball…
I try to have a positive impact in my local community with drustvosteza.si

@marcomasser@hachyderm.io @myell0w@mindly.social That's fine. It's just good to know there's a plan ;)

@marioguzman@mastodon.social Regarding the Dock menu, ensure that document-based applications display recent documents. (A neat side effect is that these will also show up automatically in LaunchBar when you hit the right arrow or space while the app is selected.)

@myell0w@mindly.social Thanks for asking! My main interest is faster and more flexible searching of all nodes. By flexible, I mean case-insensitive. Interesting node properties are the nodeId, nodeTitle, and the documentId. This is the data I am currently getting from the shortcut. So basically, what @marcomasser@hachyderm.io said earlier in the thread. I have not done much with MCPs, so there are surely people who can give much better input on what you would typically want from that.

The advantage of the LaunchBar action is that I can drill into the details of a matching document to see the matching nodes without opening the mind map. If I want, I can open the mind map directly with the matching node selected to view it in context. Or I can copy the text without opening it… or paste it with a link back to the node in another document.

@marcomasser@hachyderm.io @myell0w@mindly.social I know we chatted about that before. I just noticed it again when I tried to use it after some time.
