@tante@tldr.nettime.org something interesting is that whenever I hear talk about the harms of AI, its all quite concrete. When I hear talk of the benefit, its always vague, amorphous... probably tells you something about the nature of the tech

Wild how it took some shitty selfhelp YouTube video to finally convince me to not use my phone within 30mins of waking up and it's quite nice...

We'll see if I actually keep this habit up or not

hey, anyone have any good rss readers they use?

I started using inoreader but got frustrated that it seems to truncate the feed pretty severely

I like this piece a lot.

The Banal Horror of Jimmy Fallon

Under the sterile blue lights of his studio, Fallon laughs endlessly at the same pseudo-jokes, rubs elbows with Trump and Sam Altman, and ushers in the death of culture.

I really really need to be more critical about things I read.

I'll just read some shit and be like "damn that sounds right" without really engaging with it too much unless it really disagrees with my priors...

@steffo@a.junimo.party I used to host FreshRSS but stopped. Maybe I should just get "per-device" feeds and not need to synchronize

@neauoire@merveilles.town This looks incredible! -- I first learned about interaction nets through https://github.com/HigherOrderCO/HVM2 I really want to learn more about them and so this might be the motivation I needed to actually dive in. Amazing design and aesthetics as always :)
