The Pop vs. Soda Page is a linguistic geography project by Alan McConchie (@alan@subdued.social) that maps variations in the terms used for carbonated soft drinks.
This pair of maps is going viral again (FYI they're not based on real data, just vibes, but they do *feel* about right).
But as far as I can tell everyone's missing the intended black humor here that these are a clear reference to the maps of Palestinian land loss since 1947 that were ubiquitous six months ago.
