@Daojoan@mastodon.social the problem is the yanks f'd around and the rest of the world has to live with the consequences.

@foxylad@mastodon.nz @KiwiEV@mastodon.nz unfortunately this is nowhere near the NZ of the Kirk years.

@irix@cloudisland.nz thats a great watch thanks. I lived in London for a year in the '80s, plenty of ploughmans lunches in those days. I do think the food in the UK is mostly a lot better these days, not so many greasy spoons.

@byroncclark who would have thought nazis would be making such a big comeback in the 21st century? It is a sad time to be alive.

@fraying Alas I am in New Zealand, possibly a bit far to go.

@aram does David Bowie's death account for this?

@Annacats that cat wants you to do something by the look of it!

@wxhbxh@mastodon.nzoss.nz I would buy one with reputable brand electrics such as Bosch. I've had mine for about 12 years now, its never been a problem and still going strong. As for space, if it has a detachable battery they're about 325mm x 90 x 90 and the charger is pretty much the same size as a laptop charger.

@va2lam@mastodon.nz I first did the Rees - Dart back in the late '70s , with a side trip to Cascade saddle. It's such a great part of the world, we are very lucky here in NZ. Have done it several times since, it is always well worth while.

@lightweight@mastodon.nzoss.nz will you be back from the states by then?

@BobLefridge @leighelse its a mystery!

@BobLefridge @TexasObserver have you tried using a VPN?

@BobLefridge ad blocker?

@BobLefridge @TexasObserver works for me Bob and I'm in Dunedin

@isaacfreeman or Firefox

@isaacfreeman thanks! There's a certain amount of irony.

@Edwin085@mastodon.nl is that very practical?

@TreeStarMan@mastodon.social mine won't play anything at all, just eventually goes back to the home screen. You would like to think they would test these things!
