Took a vacation to prepare for an exam, but now I'm just procrastinating the exam preparation, and can't even distract myself by doing work instead. I may have not thought this through

Screenshot of https://youtu.be/RhveE4j6aJA?t=40s: Zach presents a picture of a T-Rex with rainbow-colored skin and rainbow-colored feather jabot. The subtitles on the bottom say "alright here we have the fake gay T-Rex – T stands for Transgender"

she/her is what I usually tell people. Though sometimes I feel I'm genderly ambiguous at best, so they/them could be a better fit. Then again, at those moments I wish I wouldn't exist at all, so I'd honestly use null/void, but oh no this fld has a sze lmt

#rustweek is a magical place where you can offhandedly correct a person repeating a common misconception, continue talking to them for a bit, and then suddenly realize you've been talking to @noboilerplate@namtao.com all this time:)

@matildalove@wetdry.world I read "smart glasses", and actually thought of the image attached. Therefore I was very puzzled when you suggested to "grab them and smash them on the ground", because how'd the poor nerds deserve that...

@Tak @ferrous@social.ferrous-systems.com you know, in times like these... That specific phrase was a big motivating factor for me to apply (for another position), and, well, I wasn't disappointed:)

@wilfredh or ocaml maybe.. I guess the more popular ones tend to just displace the original search results, like Rust or Java. C++ has the SEO-friendly variant "cpp".
The one that saddens me the most is Lean, because what I'm looking for is this beautiful math thing, and what I end up seeing is some project management silliness (funnily enough, searching it on my phone right now brought up the drug instead)

long, rambling, computertouching despair, and all i wanted to do was learn category theory, why does this keep happening to me
@mei this story has got everything – the missing p is just a cherry on top
But yeah I guess the depth of the rabbit holes you find yourself in is directly proportional to your knowledge, and hubris – I think I would've backed the hell out the moment I saw the giant Makefile

@thezoq2 Vodafone, right? Yeah its website does tend to be old-school, and not in a good way... Also, as an anecdote, from the two apartments I've used it in, it has been pretty terrible in both (compared from Telekom, which I also used twice, and never really had a problem with) – but I imagine this is at least somewhat region-specific
