I have paired my thermal printer with #meshcore USB companion. Now it prints a log of received public messages.

Going to replace washing machine rubber seal. It is very likely, after this experiment we won't have a washing machine for a while. Wish me luck 🤞

The reason why my UPS was sad recently.
Not the fanciest photo, but "pics or didn't happen".
My family is finally less suspicious about kambucha. This gave me a green light to brew it at home for the first time.
I used a starter kit from the local brand - BŪKČIA. It includes a SCOBY (aka mushroom), sugar, two tea bags and some other extras. All I needed was a container and water.
According to public internet formulas, there were a bit to small amounts of ingredients in the kit, but we will see in a week 🤞
Found an Easter egg in https://rix.meshmapper.net/ :) Hi Riga!
The only bottle of my very first batch of Kombucha. Mixed with pineapple for the secondary fermentation.
I have successfully completed one very important migration today. The great migration from zoo to USB-C <-> USB-C cables in household.
There are still a few items with custom cables (e.g. Garmin, Shokz, Super-G) or older stuff left, but not so many of them.

@vaidas@river.group.lt Emoji support depends on a font. I use python-escpos library and it has some option to set a custom font if needed. But default fonts (there are two) just print question marks for unknown symbols.
I was surprised that our native letters are supported out of the box!

@tokefrello@mastodon.social @el@tilde.zone Check which is more active in your region. Personally for me it was more interesting to join a young and growing meshcore community.
You can run one for a day, then switch to another and try. Just don't forget to backup configs before flashing so you could revert back easily and preserve your identities.

@kirschner @nicorikken 100% That was very interesting presentation from two aspects: idea & tooling behind it.
By the way, is it possible to buy the english version of the book somewhere? I'd like to dry run it and maybe think about future plans... TY!
