I'm super sick today. Everyone stop what you're doing and feel sorry for me. Thanks for your cooperation.
I added spinners and scrollbars tonight. Productive evening!
No TUI framework is complete without a sparkline widget. I guess I'll have to write an htop alternative now...
I'm going to give Tangled a try as a replacement for GitHub for future work unrelated to active projects. Seems very nice at a glance, with built-in support for vouching and atproto login.

Spectre.Console 0.55.0 has been released! 🎉
- New Spectre.Console.Ansi library for lightweight ANSI support
- Style is now a struct for better allocation performance
- Progress widget supports TimeProvider for deterministic testing
- Prompts accept CancellationToken
- Table rows support column spans
Contains breaking changes, so make sure you review the blog post before upgrading.

TinyStart has replaced Raycast for me. Perfect for Neo as well due to its low memory footprint. Recommended!
I'm happy to announce that I've finally reached the 'Time to scrub the bathroom with vinegar and dish soap' phase of my unemployment!
I wrote a bridge/adapter between Spectre.Console and Spectre.Tui, which should make it easier than ever to create interactive terminal applications!
I'm so looking forward to dropping netstandard2.0 as part of version 2.0 of Spectre.Console...
First actual "real" application using Spectre.Tui, using an Elm-inspired framework. The query is returning hard-coded data for now, and the info view is not yet implemented, but I like the programming model.
Huge shout-out to @Philco@hachyderm.io for the inspiration I drew from his library!
I just compared my cold to giving birth, and my wife was NOT amused. Who would have known? 🤷♂️
I added two new render modes for FigletText in Spectre.Console today: fitting (aka kerning) and smushing. Both will be available in the next version.
I added my little Elm architecture + Spectre.Tui love story to GitHub for anyone who wants to take it for a spin or build something themselves. A lot of rough edges, but I'm planning on smoothing them out a bit in the coming week.
It's based on, and inspired by @Philco@hachyderm.io's Spectre.Tui.Doodads library (link in repo).
I added some very basic examples to the Spectre.Tui repository README, if anyone wants to take it for a spin: https://github.com/spectreconsole/spectre.tui
I wrote a small application framework on top of Spectre.Tui in addition to my Elm experiment. This one is more like a game engine, with a screen stack and an update/render loop, and it also handles focus. Fits TUI applications very well to my surprise!
I sure ramble a lot when I'm nervous. Hopefully I didn't ruin things completely 😅
I just remembered how I bought Sean Lennon's "Into the Sun" record in 8:th grade and my friends (Bengt and Oskar) laughed at my choice of music! I still to this day think it's one of the best albums (after Beck's "Mutations") ever produced!
Thinking of writing some kind of small TUI app tonight to take Spectre.Tui for a spin. Anyone have any suggestions?
