The open-source talent crisis is real: recruitment costs for senior engineers can soar to €57,250, with a 50% chance of probation failure. But there’s hope. The FOSS Career Foundation has a waiting list of passionate candidates ready to specialize in foss. Instead of paying the price of scarcity, invest in training and build a sustainable talent pipeline. Support the foundation and turn the tide.https://os-sci.com/blog/our-blog-posts-1/good-open-source-employees-are-expensive-192
