Die immich-cli kann Ordnerstrukturen automatisch als Alben anlegen:
immich upload --album --recursive /pfad/zu/deinen/fotos
Mit --album wird der Elternordner jedes Fotos automatisch als Album-Name verwendet. Das ist der einfachste Weg, wenn die Bilder bereits ordnerbasiert organisiert sind.

Das Ganze ist für mich ein Passion Project. Ich war nie Teil des ursprünglichen Core-Repos. Ich habe mich bewusst für einen Fork entschieden, weil ich ziemlich große Pläne dafür habe und meine Zeit nicht damit verbringen wollte, mit dem Core-Team darüber zu diskutieren, was ich ändern darf und was nicht.

@Elephant @_DigitalWriter_ Außerdem gibt es ein Script, das deine Datenbank wieder in einen Zustand zurücksetzt, sodass du problemlos zurück zu Immich wechseln kannst, falls du dir Sorgen machst, dass ich das Projekt irgendwann aufgebe.

Nein, Noodle Gallery hat eigene Datenbank-Migrationen, die beim Start automatisch angewendet werden. Sobald Gallery die DB migriert hat, würde Immich damit nicht mehr kompatibel sein.
Du könntest allerdings leicht zu Gallery wechseln - mach vorher ein DB-Backup, und der Wechsel läuft dann reibungslos. Zurückwechseln ist jederzeit möglich, entweder per DB-Restore oder mit dem mitgelieferten Revert-Skript.

Noodle Gallery v5.2.0 is out - Shared Spaces now have Albums. Link an existing album into a space or create one there, and every member can contribute photos, including ones they don't own, all under the space's roles. Viewers browse read-only.

Ja klar - Noodle Gallery läuft auf derselben Datenbank und denselben Dateien wie Immich. Wechsel = drei Zeilen in der docker-compose.yml ändern, keine Datenmigration.
