You seem to prefer corporate structures and so you’re naturally thanking their CEOs (even the ones that do not play nice at all with the Fediverse — I’ve already mentioned it’s distressing you’re thanking Meta, but there’s some other really bad players there… let’s not name the vaporware man). Other important players of the Fediverse are not there at all because their structure is less corporate.
And I know that’s probably not a bad thing to you. Just a huge difference in how we see things I guess.

Are there any good sources about celebrities changing their mind, one way or the other, about trans people? I'm especially looking for people who didn't change their minds purely because of a personal experience (ie. family or friend transitioning) but for political reasons.
And ideally, I'd rather find a study, or anything a bit more developed and sourced than your average news outlet. But I'll take anything really.

Avec @ajabep_private@eldritch.cafe, on n'a pas de voiture et on cherche un moyen d'aller à la prochaine fête de l'Humanité les 12, 13, 14 septembre (vendredi soir, samedi et dimanche) chaque jour, pour si possible éviter le camping. L'aller-retour se ferait depuis le bas Montreuil, en proche banlieue parisienne.
On prend différentes options ; navette collective à proximité, co-voiturage (on contribue aux frais d'essence et de parking, et j'ai mon permis, donc on peut même alterner les tours de conduite pour que ce ne soit pas toujours le même Sam du jour !)...

You missed the opportunity to actually enforce progressive laws union-wise to prevent the worse, but chose not to. To some, you say it’s « the best option », and to some others, you say it’s « the only option, we don’t have that kind of power » (basically what’s been reported by Le Monde), and this misinformation is truly embarrassing at your level o responsibility.
I also take issue with your online presence and nature of your posts: either you claim to protect LGBTQI+ folks in the EU and act accordingly; or you let every country decide for themselves, but in this case accept that the Union isn’t safe for LGBTQI+ people. You cannot just opt for the second option and then post memes about how ✨ MARVELOUS ✨ your policies are.
Tl;dr: you’re right to feel uncomfortable about all of this, and frankly your (lack of) policies show cowardice on your end.
