The reality is more complicated. You wake up early and rush to the market, only to find most essentials gone. What remains is sold at double the old price. Some traders exploit the situation, blaming the closures. You return home carrying fewer groceries, and much more sadness and frustration.

war officially broke out between the US & Israel against #iran
ppl rushed to the markets to stock up on supplies, fearing that #Israel might close the food crossings. When we woke up, my mother went to the market but found only a few food items; most were already sold out. The truth is, I am mentally & physically not ready for another famine or siege. I am truly afraid,& am trying to share my fear in the hope that it might calm down a bit, or I might feel some sense of safety.
