Nike has been gatecrashing some London parkruns, and the head of comms at parkrun isn’t happy. It's very tone-deaf for Nike to say that only runners are allowed at parkrun. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/kirsty-woodbridge-6244b678_loveparkrun-activity-7449472432828035073-zIYr/ #parkrun

Even though I don't drink much these days, this sounds like nanny state tactics to me. https://www.timeout.com/london/news/camden-new-rules-public-drinking-london-070226 #London
Are there any @musicbrainz@mastodon.social tools that let you import Spotify pre-releases? I've tried all the usual suspects - Harmony, a-tisket, yambs - but none of them support pre-releases eg https://open.spotify.com/prerelease/60dhYK5byHkQg0C8jUsICL #MusicBrainz

@Paul I've thought about it, but only got as far as trying to add gigs I'm attending to @musicbrainz, and even that can be time consuming. What's needed is a tool that makes it easy for artists to add their gigs.

@derbadian@mas.to that's what I use too! I love the clean design. Are you sure it's no longer being updated? This post suggests otherwise https://floss.social/@moshidon/116275106780765634
Got to keep it the "people’s park", as Victoria Park is colloquially called. AEG Presents proposing to taking over part of east London's largest green space for roughly 20% of the year is not acceptable. https://www.hackneycitizen.co.uk/2026/04/08/residents-oppose-plan-victoria-park-festival-season-75-days/ #London
