@eli_oat didnt do a write up but i rewrote https://forge.lightcrystal.systems/nilix/xrxs as a generic 9p server framework and https://forge.lightcrystal.systems/nilix/taro with uf2 support and to use xrxs as a backend!

update from my side of the world- ive been fortunate enough to get another short term contract and a gracious donation this week but im still about $100 from making April rent without dipping into my savings. if youve got another gig to keep the ball rolling or a few bucks to spare please help a girl out
Hey everyone. I'm about to finish my in-progress contract and I've got availability for more work. I build desktop and web software, design and build websites, and do other stuff like digital archiving and tech education[1].
Alternatively, if you think the software I build is cool[2], and can spare a few bucks, donations[3] go a long way.
Financial goals right now:
- child support
- May's rent
- new tires for my van so I can safely make it to iwp9

even with the 9pfs i still need to keep stdin and out on hand so i can
- send a byte to tell the window to reread some data out of the 9pfs or terminate itself
- know when the window is closed so i can destroy its 9pfs
this is gonna be really cool tho ><

i'm not leaving my house till i get a perfect(ly satisfactory) recording of nwc8
redesigning the 9pfs for kuro, very excited but it's gonna involve implementing some more heavy duty xrxs modules than the ones i built so far ><
i promise nwc8 is still happening, i recorded another run yesterday and its sounding really fucking good
OH: it [the software] must be good to get the Iris stamp of approval
normalization of the 40 hour work week was a mistake
weeded the yard, went grocery shopping, and got the homelab migrated to the new fiber connection :>
it's my day off I CAN DRESS AS SLUTTY AS I WANT
beeeeep =w=
#dollctl updates incoming later inspired by some different than usual workloads
i got a job at the food co-op, and i start monday ^^
finances are still really tight and i need a bit of help to make ends meet over the next couple weeks; whether you can boost this or throw me a few bucks, i appreciate any assistance
the flow dictates tlc maintenance and feature additions to #ryudo
aww i was really hoping ERP Systems Developer meant.. yknow ^^;
little software updates:
- acme9k: we now have a keybind for cycling window focus
- taro: using the modern standards uxn2 and drifblim for building and running the frontend, fixed metadata, and fixed the 9p interface to not expect newlines at the ends of writes
My day job as a grocery wench doesn't really cover my bills and I'm incredibly housing and food insecure rn. Looking for better work but the market is fucked. Donations go a long way: https://lightcrystal.systems/support
moved my site to https://wyrm.online \m/
old domain is still up although some stuff has been moved around/removed.
expect publication of the first few pages of my graphic novel in the next couple days, i AM still working on that i just got distracted ><
ok so i have pretty much run out of the money that i got refunded from my car insurance and that means i need to hustle.
on the one hand if anybody needs an opinionated dev/sysadmin who does stuff like this you know where to find me
on the other hand if you want a pfp or full body character portrait in full color i am offering commissions for 30 and 60 usd respectively. my recent stuff looks like this
yeah money is really tight rn, i'll even go name your price on the first 3 art commissions ^^;
or if you just like my work whether its my open source projects, dj noise, or the beginnings of polycrisis (page 4 is up btw) and can spare a few bucks please consider donating
