Strawberry Music Player is an amazing piece of software. Perfect for my live music streams. Great music library management and lots of nifty features like downloading album covers and scrobbling to Last.fm and ListenBrainz. Go check them out: https://www.strawberrymusicplayer.org
Weather Channel Vibes - smooth jazz, new age, synthwave/chillwave/vaporwave, etc.

Surprisingly stable so far (knock-on-wood). Can't believe this little laptop is handling everything as well as it is.
I've decided to stop streaming on Twitch and use PeerTube exclusively (for now).
Check out my DJ stream here: https://poast.tv/w/guezJnLjAshADdJF5HyA4n
I will try to post here and in my Matrix Space whenever I go live.
Playing random albums while I test out a fresh Linux Mint & OBS install on my streaming PC. Hopefully nothing explodes! Oh, and NO ADS.

I put in a support request with Twitch to demonetize my DJ channel. We'll see if they let me.
Taking a break from streaming while I work on a new channel and new format. If I decide to return to Twitch I’m starting over and doing things the way I should have all along: no Twitch monetization, no ads, no gimmicks. Just me sharing the stuff I’m interested in.
Pre-recorded music will be a part of the new show, but not the main focus. I’ll play it in the background while doing other things, or talk over and critique it while we listen to it together.
New channel, OG name!
So I knew that vinyl records are bad for the environment and should be kept out of landfills. I didn't really think about how toxic they might be while you're handling and listening to them. I randomly came across this video and now I'm rethinking my physical media collecting habits. I might just stick to CDs and cassettes going forward.
Winter Storm Weather Channel Vibes for a few hours today. Live now, zero ads.

Success! My DJ channel has been de-monetized on Twitch!
That means no more interactive features like channel points and custom emotes, and no more subscriptions and Bits.
But it also means NO ADS for all viewers, and less money for Twitch/Amazon.
I'm streaming rock and pop albums on CD and cassette for the next few hours on Twitch.

One hour into the stream and zero dropped frames! Overall CPU usage is averaging around 40%. This is not a new or high-end laptop, but I'm impressed. This will do nicely.
