Pleased to note that I have made several right turns on my bicycle in the past two days and nobody was a knob about it
It’s opening night of the musical theater production I’m playing in the pit for, and I have to say that playing in a pit orchestra is a unique and joyful experience, if a sweaty and ultimately unglamorous one.
On my way cycling to The Pit, a car passed me and the two school-aged kids in the back seat singsonged something unintelligible and gave me gap toothed smiles and double thumbs up. I don’t know if it was for stopping to let someone use a crosswalk or general encouragement but I’ll take it!

I remember reading a post 6 months ago about a harasser on the bike path near there. Could be the same guy! Might punch his teeth in sometime.
I’m certain that the high-profile tech blogger, whose mainstream industry opinions I have been reading for 25 years, does not need help with reach or engagement.
I’m also certain that he experiences racism on the daily, here there and everywhere.
It seems to me like people want to choose one of these things to be true but I think they are both true.
