After some unseasonably warm weather we get some unreadably cool. Not raining yet but #birdsofmastodon appear to be hunkering down.
@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io nope. It just feels, to me, all downside for the reasons you’ve mentioned. I have cause to pickup my phone regularly and am not going to be fussed with positioning it just so just to get inefficient charging.
That being said I do use a wireless charger everyday…. Because I have an old set of AirPod pros and my last remaining lightning cable died and I refuse to buy more.
Ready to throw down, these little assholes are pretty … antisocial
It’s been a hot minute since an AskMe dug me out of my RSS reader to comment but this one was pretty much designed to: https://ask.metafilter.com/390513/What-fun-movies-blew-your-mind-this-century
@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io I live on Vancouver island, famous for temperate climates as such things exist in Canada.
In the last week of June 2021 we had a “heat dome” with temperatures 20min degrees higher than normal in most places. For a day a little town in the interior of BC was the hottest place on earth, months after nearly being washed away in record setting floods.
We didn’t have AC or central heat. We’re also quarantining after an international work trip. The thermometer in the sun where our front is hit over 60c multiple times.
25deg here is a heat wave. We are doomed.
