“Slow-reaction-mode enabled” … Hello from Fuseta, Portugal.
Closing the hotel door this minute. Left with a sad, but also enormeausly happy feeling. Thanks to everyone who was there the last two or three days and made this together with me. Love you all!!
Next #btconf slot at @typo3@typo3.social developer days: @andremichelle@mastodon.social with ”Why you shouldndonit anyways“ and his reason behind starting #opendaw
Summer holidays in Portugal are over. Back in the studio on Monday! 😊
I asked attendees of #btconf, which social they use. Multiple answers where possible. Of those who answered (387) it looks like this.
Just creating and double checking the badges for @btconf@mastodon.social and it warm my heart to see so many known names, as well as it makes me think: most of the people in the audience are already worth coming tpo have a conversation with!
Good one on event existence reasons and reasons to attend by my friend @keirwhitaker@mastodon.social https://keirwhitaker.com/blog/the-real-value-of-irl-marketing/
The world you deal with sometimes simply feels like you are the main character in a loooooong going joke. But hell, am I looking forward to seeing everyone at @btconf@mastodon.social next week!

@matuzo@front-end.social yes. And, well, I guess that conclusion counts for any tool we use.
“Put dowm these pocket sadness machines and start reading” – @brendandawes@mastodon.social in conversation with @bradfrost.com@rss-parrot.net Seems like an easy recommendation, but yes please! https://youtu.be/9QNJ-TRB_GM?is=ggFkTi4RP7v19WSp
Working on a Google map for @btconf@mastodon.social attendees with recommendations and useful places (like venues etc). Anything to add, please let me know: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1RwdwfbLmaaDBp74Ici9EUeUctqaL9AI&usp=sharing

@brad_frost Linda Liukas spoke twice at #btconf. She has a great way of teaching programming to children. Her playground in Helsinki would be ace, but well … a bit far. https://www.lindaliukas.com/playground.html

The piece that @flarup@mastodon.social posted a few days ago remembered me of something @sophie@social.lol had posted a while ago and triggered me to write reasons “Why We Need to Be in the Same Room” (again). https://marcthiele.com/notes/why-we-need-to-be-in-the-same-room
