The hardest part of poverty isn't the lack of money...
It's when your family's most basic needs become dependent on a notification telling you that a donation has arrived, so you can finally buy what they need.

This is not Eid…
Eid is when everyone returns to their homes, not to their shrouds.
In Gaza, even the takbeerat sound broken,
as if they are rising from hearts exhausted by crying more than by war.
There are those who welcomed Eid with a photo of a martyr,
and those who sat before an empty place that was once filled with the voice of a mother, a brother, or a child.
And there are those who lost their homes, their families, and even their ability to feel.
In times when even the simplest things have become dreams...
Today, this chicken became a reminder that kindness still finds its way to us.
Behind this meal are hearts that have never met us, yet chose to share our daily bread. Behind it are prayers, compassion, and blessings that God sent to us through your hands.
