This will stay with me:
1. Things that are worth doing are worth doing well.
2. Things that are done well require time and effort.
3. You make meaning through the doing.
4. Ideas are common; effort is not.
5. There are no shortcuts.
For a talk/blog, I'm collecting names of FOSS projects/libraries that involve cheeky wordplay. For example:
- Play on original/proprietary software's name, like SPSS -> PSPP, caffeine -> amphetamine
- Recursive, like WINE (Wine Is Not An Emulator)
- Others, like yuzu -> DMCA -> suyu
When you add an example, please also point out the joke/reference.
Pls boost for more reach 🙇
