Launching a little project today! I spent the last few weeks piecing together an archive of every concert I’ve been to. I grew up in the “show up at a door and hand a guy $5” era, so this was an interesting endeavor. More shows to add soon, too!

Yesterday I was with my nieces and watching the Pixar short “Piper” (2016), an adorable, emotional story with zero dialogue and the most beautiful animation you’ve ever seen.

@11ty@neighborhood.11ty.dev Congrats @zachleat@fediverse.zachleat.com! I hope this brings all the funds and support (and time off) you’ve wanted/needed all these years 💚
I can’t believe we’re getting new Piebald music in the year 2026 🥲 https://youtu.be/zpze9bL2Rrc

@TrentWalton@mastodon.social Whaaaat! This feels like maybe Top Chef could win a court case 😂 (I’ll probably check it out, but definitely have a yikes feeling)

@tylersticka@social.lol Thank you! 💚
I’ve been thinking it’s such a bummer we don’t get physical ticket stubs anymore and how I bet people would be really into it now!

@damianwalsh@mastodon.social It’s real! Most of the shows I go to are general admission, but the ones that have seat info are where I sat!

@jimniels@mastodon.social Ahaha right? Definitely in a good era for bands touring on albums’ 20-25 year anniversaries 😅

@wtrmt@mastodon.social We talked about animation and how much care and effort goes into it. But good call on a behind the scenes video! I bet they’d really like that.

@trovster@mastodon.social I set up a little tripod thing and took photos of them with my phone. Seemed to work ok but I wasn’t being very detailed about quality/alignment.

@johnny5w@social.johnwarne.com It took some searching around the web to figure out a lot of these! Thankfully some local folks here have been posting old flyers and show schedules. Helped a lot!

@damianwalsh@mastodon.social @tylersticka@social.lol Of course! But also I think I would do it

@MoritzGlantz@mastodon.social Same! I know there are a few I’m missing. There are a couple accounts on Instagram that post old school flyers and show schedules from around that time in my state and that helped a ton.

@dokas@mas.to Yes! Revisiting these was so much fun. Some of those years feel like a totally different life 😄

@hdv@front-end.social Thank you! I have some of them still, though many have been lost to time sadly 😄 If I have the ticket I put a photo of it on the show’s detail page!

@trovster@mastodon.social It took about three weeks of me working on it in my spare time. I could definitely write a post about it!
