Lyli

sharkey 2025.5.2-dev+g8e80ed6771Hi ! I’m Élysia (or Lyli) !
Ex-Senior SRE turned sewing hacker
Now trading Kubernetes for thread, needles, and the sweet chaos of DIY fashion.
Trans / non-binary, queer, punk, and leftist
Still yelling about FR/EU politics.
(under CW, don’t worry).
Alt-fashion lab rat: Upcycling, fuckups, and (maybe) wins.
Documenting the mess in real time — here or on PixelFed.
Linux enthusiast, my desk is now 50% Debian, 50% sewing machine.
Adult on paper, but let’s be real:
I’m just a catgirl with a needle and big dreams
Music, kawaii vibes, and occasional rants — consider yourself warned.
*“If it’s stupid but it works, it’s DIY fashion.”*
⚠️ Minors: No lewds/nudes here, but I’m a ±40yo adult.
If that’s a vibe-killer, the door’s over there →🚪
Follow for the journey
Stay for the chaos.

I just finished the sewing workshop. The seamstress was super chill! She gave me her card and even told me to call her if I have questions!
Anyway, in 3h, I only sewed the invisible zipper ... but got tons of advice!
I didn't take a lot of pictures of the skirt. I'm making al necessary files for my application to the sewing training. I will update PF, later this week.
Fedi is back. I can breath again :neocat_shy_flower:
Yesterday. I broke the invisible zip when sewing the invisible stitch. This stitch is very hard to do. Today, I will get a new feet for my machine and a new zip. And maybe I will finish the skirt.
Hello Fédi.
Uber late.
Don't have the time for a breakfast.
I found a very nice indigo pareo. It'll be perfect for summer! If only I hadn't forgotten my swimsuit at home...
