@byte@tech.lgbt this kinda sounds like you're adding extra steps here to justify why we should be able to modify the software we use there's no reasonable justification for proprietary software, even software made by for-profit companies, it all comes back to greed and paranoia about property rights all software should be free software, and the logic here just fall out of the normal reasoning around the 4 essenrial freedoms without additional justification
