AFAIK neither #GitHub, nor #Gitlab or @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de provide a way to ensure that no single owner can move a repo to another organization.

Is anyone interested in helping to bring the #Drupal credits system to the broader open source community?
https://www.drupal.org/drupalorg/docs/marketplace/contribution-credit-weight-and-impact-on-ranking
The idea of the credits system is to give credit to individuals/organizations for their code and non-code contributions to Drupal. Their system is, however, open source and reasonably extensible (f.e. to plug in other code and issue solutions).
The end goal is to create transparency to help steer customers towards organizations doing meaningful work with upstream.
#DigitalSovereignty via #OpenSource is gaining momentum, but accessibility can’t be an afterthought. 🇪🇺♿️
Finding OSS #A11y data is currently too hard, info is fragmented or buried. We’re planning to integrate a11y documentation links, WCAG standards compliance, and test reports directly into OSSDirectory.com
Which open-source projects have great accessibility data, and where do you find it?
Will #markdown displace the #Microsoft Doc format? Could this be the best byproduct of the #aihype ?
When I say markdown, I also mean tools build on top of markdown, like @lasuite Docs.
Like who thinks that writing and collaborating in an 80 page document in MS Word is a good experience?
Let's make it happen!
Working on my #Nextcloud classifier project. While #Apertus 8B Q4_K_S did fit into the memory of my #pi4 8GB even overclocked to 2000Mhz it wasn't able to give me a response within 30min for my use case.
Switching to #Mistral 3B Q4_K_S now. *fingers crossed*
So my spouse and I just dropped $1k into the https://endowment.dev fund (not yet listed).
I see this as a complementary way to move the needle but hope that with public procurement this fund will become a drop in the bucket. also would prefer a European run fund in the long term. but lets see.
Also why are they not on Mastodon?
should #crowdfunding play any role when it comes to pushing #digitalsustainability forward, specifically when it comes to the #publicsector digitalization needs?
if yes, should this be done in direct action towards providing infrastructure pieces that should be provided by the public sector but are not (hoping that the success leads to the public sector eventually taking over?), or should it rather be indirect by fostering the technology pieces we hope for the public sector to pick up?
