Finally read Vandermeer’s Annihilation last night. What a story, but I still am feeling residual effects from the stress. Masterfully managed and structured. #southernreach #jeffvandermeer

@sean_ae@post.lurk.org Hell yeah. I jumped from Mirage to Akai and always kinda regretted that because my partner at the time went EPS (not 16 tho) and I was always a bit jealous ‘cause I thought his had way more character.

Welp, after years of telling myself I should, I find myself reading Joyce’s Ulysses. https://www.joyceproject.com/

No words.

Just learned this morning that an aquaintence of mine in the local scene passed away back in February and I somehow missed the news entirely. He was responsible for releasing a few Logickal releases over the past few years, and I feel sadness and regret that we had drifted apart enough for it to take 3 months for me to learn this news. RIP, Wright - you were a light onto the world. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn/david-lagrone-12746335

Latest episode of Radio Free Arcadia is up - this time, it’s recordings from the latest iteration of my Sinewives Max/MSP device:

TIL there is such a thing as a “professional” kazoo

You might know that I am a lifelong aerospace nerd… so you might guess that I was a little irritated at the poor quality of the direction of the Artemis II launch from the NASA coverage. I took the footage they posted and made my own launch replay, using an editing style inspired by the way NASA used to do it….

@sean_ae@post.lurk.org I think that I make this slightly puzzled and vaguely alarmed expression towards my patches and gear quite frequently.

It’s been a diffcult day, and I’m certain it doesn’t look like it’s going to get much easier. To that end, I’d like to invite anyone interested to download Hrih for free - we’ve made it PWYW on Bandcamp and Mirlo

I hope it finds someone who needs a little of what it has to offer.

Tonexed and Hrih are both out today! Thanks to those who have already supported!

On April 3, I’ll be releasing two new albums via @offnominal@mastodon.social - Tonexed and Hrih.

Elsewhere, I picked the wrong moment to go looking at the news.

First whirlwind visit to MCR - it’s actually sunny this Sunday morning. Hoping to make a quick dive through a couple of record / book shops before I head to the airport for Dublin.

@sean_ae@post.lurk.org @emenel@post.lurk.org Ok then, OIL and Circuses! Oh, wait….

My friend fadeddata’s new album is now available from @offnominal@mastodon.social - Great modular synth explorations, check it out! #modularsynthesizers #experimentalelectronics #newrelease #newmusicfriday

For those interested, I took some of the angles from the Artemis II launch and made a quick multicam video gallery. https://youtu.be/4cTLUmBqOdA?si=hMPt3x1moBTK7_a8 #artemisii #artemis #launch #SLS #ksc

I frequently seem to combine international travel and daylight savings time transitions. I do not recommend.
