📌The Libre Space Foundation’s #PHASMAmission, integrated via #Exolaunch, board #SpaceX’s #Falcon9 in the Transporter-15 rideshare.
The #PHASMAmission will run in-orbit experiments in spectrum monitoring, radio-frequency interference identification and better tracking of orbital objects to contribute to space situational awareness.

📌The PHASMA-LAMARR #CubeSat of the Libre Space Foundation’s #PHASMAmission is named after Hedy Lamarr, an Austrian-American actress and a self-taught inventor.
She co-invented a frequency-hopping, spread-spectrum technology that became the foundation for modern wireless systems such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

📌The PHASMA-DIRAC 🛰️ is one of the #CubeSat platforms comprising the Libre Space Foundation’s #PHASMAmission. Named after Paul Dirac, the renowned British theoretical physicist, regarded as one of the founders of quantum mechanics.

It is tasked with performing various radio spectrum monitoring experiments; all data will be open, and we hope to share our insights soon with the scientific, industry, and, last but not least, radio enthusiast communities.

📌The #PHASMAmission 🛰️ will run experiments to analyse the spectrum of terrestrial RF transmissions- to quantify global spectrum use, locate potential sources of interference, and detect possible signal transmission violations.
