Who would ever have thought that waving a flag of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the capital of Europe would come to be seen as an act of resistance against the fascism of the United States of America?

@GroupNebula563 DeepL gives a correct translation: “The Foreign Nationals Working in China Permit System is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please be patient.”

@0xabad1dea @GroupNebula563 I have been learning Spanish in Brussels (Belgium) for 10 years. The language of instruction has been Spanish from the very first lesson. And that pays off, because we never 'translate'. Another language of instruction would not have been possible, because the classes are very international.

@0xabad1dea @GroupNebula563 Now I had to look up what a “I know how to say biblioteca” mistake is. 😅
Replying to
@GroupNebula563 Yes, of course. What I meant to say is that if DeepL translates it correctly, how can it be mistranslated on the placard? I suppose they used a translation machine.
Replying to
@GroupNebula563 That could explain it.
The fascist US dictatorship will use the selective release of the Epstein files to try to destabilise European states. We are already seeing this happen in the United Kingdom.

As bored and unmoved as I was whilst watching ‘Project Hail Mary’ yesterday, I was equally charmed and moved whilst watching Thierry Frémaux’s ‘Lumière, l'aventure continue’ (2025) today. #Lumière #cinema #cinematography #ProjectHailMary

@timhutton “Open a command-prompt” > I'm not good at that, unfortunately. Isn't there just a piece of installable software for that? Preferably for macOS.
