I drew a few gadgets, gizmos and whatnots this evening. #drawing #illustration #digitalart
My latest blog post on PC WEENIES: "Pica Brings Delight to Mac Font Management".

New post: The modern car instrument cluster is a minefield of cluttered distraction. #auto #ui #ux #design #dashboardhttps://pcweenies.com/the-modern-automobile-dashboard-is-a-mess/
A comic book cover I made featuring characters from the "Florida Hippopotamus Cocaine Massacre" by Mad Cave Studios. #comicbook #comiccover #digitalart #madcavestudios

Today I took apart my dish washer for the first time ever to replace a worn and damaged control board.
(Aside: I had to take apart the door from the frame and detach the inner door from the outer door. A bit too involved for a simple control panel replacement.)
It was most certainly a learning process, but satisfying when the job was finished.
Being able to purchase a part to fix things is the way it should be.
I picked a launcher to replace Spotlight. It's Alfred. Read on for my rationale (and my nitpicks).

I may or may not have played one too many rounds of “Mr. Do” today.
I’m happy that it’s *finally* available for the Nintendo Switch. #arcade #switch #mrdo #videogames
In my latest blog post, I've shared my Mac data backup strategy:
Avoid HostPapa like the plague.
I just woke up to a ridiculous hosting charge for another website I own. Thankfully my credit card company alerted me to the excessive charge.
I love #portfolioday - it’s introducing me to the amazing work of so many wonderfully talented artists!
My latest YT tutorial shows I use reference and illustration as studies to help inform my work. #artinstruction #digitalart #howtodraw
Some good news - after some SQL spelunking this morning, I was able to properly extract old article posts spanning 2007 - 2020 from the previous PC WEENIES website.
I plan to bring back some of my favorite posts to the new site. (remastered, of course).
Sadly, the posts that accompanied the PC WEENIES comic strips (past 2013) are gone forever. #website #sql #wordpress
My latest post “Two Launchers, One Mac" is now live #macOS #launchers #raycast #alfred
My newest video continues my exploration of integrating vector elements into my raster work. Have a look.

@virtuous_sloth lol! Thankfully, you can adjust the brightness down to make the screen a bit more readable. But I totally get it. :)

@vwestlife thank you. I plan to crack it open next weekend to see what the dust situation might be like.

@ABMatou@mastodon.world Hmmm... I'm not sure. I'm also running it on an M1 series Mac. I also tested on an M4 Mac mini. (No issues on both.)

@lps@mograph.social Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. I would love to sync the videos over to peertube. The goal here is to help others, so more exposure would be great. I'll look into this a bit more.
