It's unbelievable, even for myself, but I'm running Slackware, Ufficio Zero and Gentoo at home with no changes for a few months now. I usually have the urge to try something new on at least one of my computers. But now? I'm only the user, happy user.

@stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe Well, good morning to you too. Are you feeling fine again?
Just divide it all into smaller, digestable pieces, don't overwhelm yourself

@thesaigoneer here in central Europe, this is basically a price of a second hand barebone PC with the same (or even lower end / older CPU such as N100 or even N4xxx 😔😔 add extra for SSD and RAM

@thesaigoneer@social.linux.pizza I'll stay loyal to Acer 🙂 usually works nicely as they don't try to screw the user by limiting their options artificially (such as blacklisting other miniPCI cards, etc., like a certain, formerly three letter manufacturer does).
There's crisis, laptops with 16+ GB of RAM are now rarer than tears of unicorn (at least reasonably priced ones). Lucky for me, 5-6 years old HW is still more than fine (typing this at home on a 6th gen i3).

@matthew@social.retroedge.tech that's ok for a single purpose laptop. I wouldn't go on the internet with it though
