@aral@mastodon.ar.al im gonna be honest, if someone saw “🇪🇺 European!” listed as a selling point for a social networking website, and actually found that more appealing than the Fediverse rather than repulsive, i would not stop them. They should sign up for W. They should join the fellow white supremacists on that website, they should join the EU nationalists on the Certified Aryan Social Network. i do not want them on my fedi they can go away

@nu@ko.she-a.eu it’s completely and totally unsolicited spam, the “unsubscribe” button is probably just for show. they use a different email address for every message also, even though the message is exactly the same

@coolbean@brain.worm.pink actually my government is stopping me. aliexpress is blocked from uzbekistan payment systems because they aren’t paying taxes or something

wait i just had the sussiest idea mentions-only boost funny way to troll someone with an older client not showing boost visibility (or just not looking to check) into thinking their post is being shared when it’s actually not

This doesn’t render properly on my phone i hope it does on yours

i should play supertux

@nu@ko.she-a.eu sussy

xmpp and sigmal sucks too they donr even have custom emojis

@nu@ko.she-a.eu what’s a furry status?

@nu@ko.she-a.eu it went down to 66 right after i took the screenshot

@nu@ko.she-a.eu you can do something like that on XMPP (no banners though) to my knowledge only Gajim supports any of this, and most public group chats are pseudonymous so no one will see your JID and most likely not your profile either, except display name & pfp. i don’t know what Matrix client you are using but it looks like some less common one with custom extensions, none of the ones i use will show me anything from your profile except pfp + display name + mxid

Coyote vs ACME (he is trying to obtain a TLS certificate)

it seems like others don’t really do that

@fiore@brain.worm.pink @thing@thegayagenda.fans YOU are a rounding error actually

the stupid vibe-coded vim update broke my config great

chat do you think that tiny button is going to unsubscribe me from the [Limited Time Offer] Discover Elegant Luxury Watches Starting From $250 spam?

i just thinked about something there is literally no difference between Claude Code and Google Translate (yes including the one from before the current AI bubble) they are fundamentally the same thing, with the same goals Claude Code attacks your ability to program computers, stops you from learning programming and makes you dependent on a cloud service to operate your computer Google Translate attacks your ability to communicate with other cultures, stops you from learning new languages and makes you dependent on a cloud service to understand what people say in both cases the result produced by the machine is low-quality slop that is frequently full of errors and nonsense, but often gets the job done, thus asking the corporate robot becomes a viable alternative to actually learning things

@fiore@brain.worm.pink i forgor 💀

@nu@ko.she-a.eu Someone else’s computer, thus not self-host

if you’re from a white country and can type computer commands in the same keyboard layout&input method as your native language i think you should not be allowed in discussions regarding how anglocentric the computing world is

Top ten reasons i don’t self-host number <?> RE: https://ublog.kimapr.net/objects/b2803b1a-da09-49dd-a77c-254dfdba4bf3

also wow the game is old . older than me and seems like even some(?) of its current maintainers RE: https://ublog.kimapr.net/objects/39d306b8-4045-4c5d-b75c-2bf926f5e597

ffukcing spammer sent an email with a date into the future and stupid thunderbird sorts it to the top because it’s “latest”

i really don’t like “if buying isn’t owning then pirating isn’t stealing” first of all there is absolutely zero logic in this sentence. just because someone mistreats you and lies to you doesn’t mean that stealing from them is suddenly not stealing. there is literally no logical connection. stealing physical things from a corporation is still stealing even if the corporation exploits its workers and customers. pirating is indeed not stealing but that is because it fundamentally just isn’t, piracy isn’t theft, when you pirate you “steal” only “potential sales” that aren’t real and wouldn’t exist anyway, actual theft is taking away real value. whatever atrocities the corporation you pirate from commits has zero bearing on whether the act of piracy is theft or not. second of all, it reads to me as “i’m not stealing things from a corporation!! i am a good person, not like those thieves!!” — genuinely fuck you if you think like this, you’re the kind of person who’d see a poor person stealing from a grocery store and snitch on them. digital piracy literally would be infinitely cooler if it was theft, imagine being able to just take 10 or 100 dollars from a corporation with the click of a button. last of all it sounds goofy as hell. i will not give a rationale for this but it’s (in my opinion) objectively true

@coolbean@brain.worm.pink im uzbekistani, not really uzbek… tho im born here

@fiore@brain.worm.pink @tusharhero@mathstodon.xyz @rose @navi@social.vlhl.dev it does in the manpage though

@meluzzy@woof.tech honestly i’d go further and say there’s no such thing as echo (unless you know what you’re doing)
