Yesterday we went scrambling in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada. The scramble ends on the summit of Veleta standing at 3394m. We sat having lunch and met a very friendly Ibex ❤️

@huskify@mastodon.world @cdf1982@iosdev.space Yes ticks can be a problem, our tick season is short because it's usually so hot here, everything dry, they seem to pick them up when near water. The dogs wear collars to treat for all bugs, all year round, the sandfly is the biggest problem here for Leishmaniasis. We avoid all grass when they start to dry, Arko is a magnet for them, but while they are still green we are okay 🙃

@huskify@mastodon.world Glad you are getting some cooler temps this week, it's the lows that make all the difference for sure. We are cooling this week, similar to you but with a higher low 🙄 Glad you've also got better air quality at last too. I don't know about over there but our wildfires are mostly caused by human stupidity 😡 I wish people engaged the brain they were born with.
