I’d just never really had it with running before but maybe my runs are either more planned by my general routine or things I “need” after work. @simon@social.sgawolf.com @bomberstudios@mastodon.online I am guessing the body resists anything that takes effort, mental or physical even when it is something you enjoy. We have to psyche ourselves up for it.
Open post Kevin @kevin@appdot.net · 5mo ago Replying to @bomberstudios@mastodon.online @simon@social.sgawolf.com I get the exact same feeling with my bike, and the solution I’ve found is so simple it sounds almost stupid: I tell myself “ok, ok, ok, let’s meditate about why you’re procrastinating this *while riding* the bike”. Just did that yesterday. Ended up doing 66km and discovering the most beautiful trail around. @bomberstudios@mastodon.online @simon@social.sgawolf.com same with piano for me. There is often procrastination before I start but once I am there it is always what was that about.

As opposed to "still", like bottled water, which was, as far as I know when I open the bottle, always uncarbonated. @eviloatmeal@ak.angelstrapped.com @LadyDragonfly@universeodon.com I'm guessing the oceans were once carbonated and this explains all that annoying CO2 in the atmosphere. We just need to make the earth round again.
