I’ve gotten into sewing clothes in the last couple years and this year I want to participate in #MeMadeMay / #memademay2026
I don’t have a ton of items, but I have enough to *try* to wear at least once piece that I crafted as often as possible, and document my journey.
Here is my Chalk and Notch - Page Hoodie, which is probably the item i am a) most proud of for its construction (the hood was like half the work!) and b) most comfortable in.
Pants and the rest are RTW (ready to wear).
Personal public transit win: I ran for a bus and caught it *in Santa cruz* because I had enough real time info on its location
I was able to do this 18 or 19 years ago in Seattle
the downside of adopting a cat (or two) in the hellscape of a year 2026
just keep my cats' microchip record intact and leave me alone.
Oh shit, west side pizza show down. Cruz room with sleight of hand pizza is now open down the hill from pogonip pizza. Cruz room is where d20 was (and where burger was before that).
pogonip pizza was at the international pizza competition recently but so was sleight of hand, and they were supposedly ranking really high.
happy toorcamp ferry day to all who celebrate/suffer
I wasn’t sure I wanted to post me made may sewing stuff here. I wasn’t sure I wanted to post it on IG either (where it feels like the *event* is taking place). I wanna be witnessed, but not necessarily through the evil meta machine.
Alas, I ended up posting in both places.
I’ve now ridden my bike to the Ariana grande gulch
Unintentionally went geocaching during dinner
Nice day for a walk with ur friends in the park, eh? and for singing songs to people playing ukuleles dressed as unicorns
Was back at my parents’ house today. Here’s my beautiful sister Sweet Pea in even better lightning than before.
