Would I be crazy for including this review in my Teaching Dossier as evidence that my lectures actually provide value to students?

@MartinEscardo @pounce Yeah, with Emacs, Yabai, Sketchybar, Karabiner Elements, Hammerspoon/Spacehammer, Homebrew and Alacritty, I can basically forget that I'm using a mac. But it can print and run powerpoint and connect to my Uni's software and all that stuff that I no longer have time to fight with on Linux, and damn is the battery life good.

@wilbowma@types.pl Do you know if there's a way for authors to check their own summaries without subscribing? I'm certainly not paying for access and I haven't figured out the right combination of VPN and login voodoo to figure out if I have institutional access.

@NathanielB Would this help at all for e.g. being able to rewrite by record fields?
For example, I really want a CwF interface (or even just a substitution interface) that can automatically simplify by the equations, but I want to write it once and have it work for all instantiations.
I haven't yet read the paper, so this could be totally orthogonal to what it does. But I'm hopeful that at least thinking about scope and writing could help with records

@secretasianman I mean, they posted this before grades were released, the day of the exam, so I'm assuming they just put in a dummy value.

@sundogplanets@mastodon.social How do you do this? Do you do email or paper mail?
I've been meaning to do this for a while but don't really know how to get into it
