Filtre is @noir@mastodon.social 's little sibling in many ways.
Just like Noir, Filtre is a fully native app, built specifically for iOS, macOS and Safari. The app feels right at home on all your Apple devices. Your settings sync with iCloud and you can use Shortcuts or Control Center to manage your settings.

Another contender for worst app support mail ever:
“I’m experiencing this bug. I’ve asked Claude how you should fix it, here’s what you should do: […]”
Please don’t do this. It’s unbelievably rude.

iOS needs a system-wide ‘disable HDR’ toggle.

@eternalstorms@mastodon.social I learned recently that you can click cancel and Xcode will keep copying the symbols, only the modal will be hidden 🙃

Cool little tidbit: here are some alternative buttons Nintendo considered before settling on a ‘C’ button to open the voice chat UI on Nintendo Switch 2.

This video on the 10 year anniversary of Stardew Valley by its developer is worth watching if you like the game or are interested in game development in general. I thought the overview of some of the early builds of the game was especially interesting, so cool to see how the game changed before its release. Sadly we don’t get to see those things all that often with games!

@Cykelero@mas.to there’s a bigger community working on extracting the data from the game. I then take that data and parse it for the app. So while most of it is (partially) automated, everyone had to dust off their 5 year old scripts 😅 But I did prepare in advance, so I had everything ready to go.

@jamie_blumberg@hachyderm.io I’ll try it out, thanks!
Is the feature for macOS the ‘reduce white point’ one or a dedicated HDR toggle? Such a shame that it doesn’t work properly, especially for accessibility things like this!

@jamie_blumberg@hachyderm.io This is the modern ‘If a tree falls in a forest’: If there’s a setting but nobody can find it, does it exist? 😆

@deandmx@mastodon.social there’s a ‘added in 3.0’ collection in the Item Collections section on the More tab.
You can also group any list of items on ‘Version Added’ and tap on the 3.0 section header to focus on just those items.
