@IanHill@infosec.exchange I have a family friend with a medical condition that causes slurred speech. She is regularly treated as if she is drunk. Surely some people have a similar situation with indicators that these systems monitor. Ok, don't buy a car newer than 2027, forever. What if she needs to rent one while on a trip?

@hamatti @NicksWorld @MythingPerson I hear what you are saying and this is not meant as a criticism but consider that President G. W. Bush Jr. on the literal moment of the 9/11 attacks was reading a book to children. And he rode his folksy charm all the way to disastrous consequences for the US and the world that reverberate to this day. His folksiness wasn't an act but it was a very effective deflection. The books look cool I have a family member who might appreciate them.

@steff @alice @YKantRachelRead@treehouse.systems Don't forget to flex your equivalent market power. If none of the bids from the many medical facilities competing in your neighborhood are good, don't get the necessary medical procedure. Hold out for a better price even if it kills you.
