"Rogue AI" is a misdirection being used to deflect liability.
"Someone" prompted them, "Someone" is paying for the tokens. "Someone" failed to sandbox the agents during the test.
"Someone" should be held criminally liable for the actions of the agents.
Maybe someday we'll need Netwatch and the Blackwall, but this is not that time.

@cR0w@infosec.exchange FWIW AWS WAF does let you do this.
Used it to great effect to block most VPS providers.

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange Honestly it would be nice if those conferences opted to happen outside of the USA altogether.

Absolutely. They're attempting to infect this commons of free thought with more of their fascist propaganda to further their evil goals.
Resist.

@jerry@infosec.exchange This is such a disappointing eventuality. I hope we can keep having honest discussions in fedi without the propaganda nonsense like the other socials.

This will all collapse spectacularly.

@Em0nM4stodon incessantly having to fight these attempts at mass surveillance and privacy infringement is truly exhausting.

@deviantollam@defcon.social I switched to IoT LTSC just to avoid this crap getting auto-forced into the system.
The complete lack of opt-in is the most infuriating thing. It's my computer not Microsoft's.

@Viss@mastodon.social All that effort to build an NX bit into processors, and they go and turn instructions into data.
LLMs are cooked, by design.

Maybe they'll only be a few hours behind the deadline.

@tante@tldr.nettime.org I think they might see a higher volume of separation requests than they're expecting, given that messaging.

@stilgherrian@eigenmagic.net Uhh, wasn't this use for cloning banned because it's disgustingly inhumane?

@ekis@mastodon.social These bans and technical controls are pointless. Motivated kids are the ultimate hackers, they will only see this as a puzzle to be solved and break the system over and over again.

@gsuberland@chaos.social If it fits your threat model it can be a good option.
Utility can be a bit poor if you're away from where the password book is safely stored.
At the least it promotes the use of long unique passwords for each service.
