@koehntopp@infosec.exchange deswegen soll man sein System ja selber hosten. Ein Konfigurationsfehler des Herstellers hat dann keine Auswirkungen auf das eigene System.
Nicht alle Nextcloud Instanzen hatten ein Datenleck, sondern nur das der Firma Nextcloud.
Wenn bei Google oder MS ein solcher menschlicher Fehler passiert sind alle Daten betroffen.
From time to time I donate some (mostly little) money to #FOSS projects or projects/organizations that I want to support. Normally I don't talk about it.
But this time I would like to mention the platform I just supported.
It's https://www.lokjo.com developed by @lokjo@mapstodon.space. It's a tracking free European map that wants to support regional shops, companies, ... by treating every search result with the same priority. No algorithm that shows one shop earlier or bigger than others.
